A Six Flags Great America Day!

Yesterday, we took Caitie and Payton to Great America for the first time! We had such a great time! The girls just loved it! There were pockets of rain showers here and there throughout the day, but we had a lot warmth and sunshine, too. The girls did a great job considering we spent 10 hours at the park. We did not spend any time at Hurricane Harbor…the weather just wasn’t warm enough for that. We went on all the rides that both girls were able to go on. Caitie’s favorite ride was the Little Dipper. A Chicago Kiddieland historic wooden coaster that was purchased by Six Flags and preserved for everyone to enjoy. We enjoyed it about 5 times! Ha! So much fun! Payton’s favorite ride was the Jetson’s rollercoaster. We went on that one about 5 or 6 times! We enjoyed the rides, the shows, the dance party, the food, the parade, and the shops. We even got to ride the Columbia Carousel, the scenic train, and Roaring Rapids (rides that I enjoyed back in the day)!  I took so many pictures that I decided to share my favorite 24 with you. Hope you all enjoy these pics!

P.S. Payton was a little scared of the characters, so you won’t see her in the character pics. Ha!

I can’t wait to come here again with my baby girls!

So, what do you think? Are these girls ready for Disney World next year?
