Nerves of Steel

Yesterday was Caitie’s First Day of First Grade. She did really well. We are so proud of her. She was nervous the whole day, of course. I remember being nervous on every first day of school of my life…even at Chiropractic College! I think the first day is always tough for most. Going from a half-day Kindergarten (3 hours) to a full-day of First Grade (about 6.5 hours) is hard.

It will only get easier with time. All she needs is time to get used to it. I love her smile. She is a pretty brave kid. She is growing up so fast. It seems to go by faster with all the hustle and bustle of school.

While Caitie is in school, Payton will be in gymnastics and swim school. It will be fun! And, I get this alone time with her before she goes off to Kindergarten next year. Time sure flies by…doesn’t it!?
