Our Tradition Layout

I’m so excited! Here is a project I made for Little Yellow Bicycle. I’m very happy to be a part of the Wonder and Wishes Cycling Team this December. You can view my projects on the Little Yellow Bicycle Blog:

A layout I made using the Wonder and Wishes Collection by Little Yellow Bicycle. Every year for the past 10 years now, we have gone to the Christmas tree farm for a fresh tree. I had so many pics from the day. I knew I could just take my favorites and put them into a pocket on the page. The Medley Album Kit was just perfect. It comes with pretty Envelopes, matching Inserts, and a Tag…all in different sizes. I picked the size that fit my needs and attached the pocket to the page. (I’ll save the Envelopes for my December Daily album.) I used the beautiful Tiny Tonal Poinsettia Patterned Paper as the background for this layout.

I used the plaid patterned Canvas Tape and ruffled in on the page. I love that the Canvas Tape Rolls are self-adhesive. If I make a mistake, then it peels off and I can reset it. It’s really durable.

I used the Pine Needles Punch on the Dots on Green Patterned Paper and created tree branches.

I loved adding the Chipboard Mini Frames Photo Ornaments to my tree. And, instead of photos…why not add some fun pinwheels. I think my favorite part of this collection is the Paper Flower Kit. There are so many pieces, so many possibilities, and the work is done for you. It’s already scalloped, cut, and scored for you that all you have left to do is assemble them the way you like.

I love the Confetti Garland. Again, the work is all done for you. I just added some Foam Circle Tabs for that 3D effect and put it in my tree. It’s so pretty!

I added the Chipboard Spinner Sticker with this sweet sentiment. So perfect! I also added pinwheels and flowers (from the Paper Flower Kit) and more Jewel Stickers along with a layered Flower Button Dot.

Here is the journaling and photo pocket. I love the size of this matching Insert from the Medley Album Kit. I had plenty of room for my title, journaling, and decorations. I used the red Corrugated Alphas for my title. I added snowflakes from the Cardstock Stickers Favorite Pieces to my title. I added a Jewel Sticker to the green Glitter Sticker from the Countdown to Christmas Page Kit.

I added the date with a date stamper I got from Office Max. The “Merry Christmas” sentiment is from the Clear Stickers Cardmaking set. I love this set…there are 8 different sentiments and 24 pieces to it.

Well, here are all 14 wallet-sized photos that I easily fit into the pocket along with the Insert card.

Pretty Computer Font Time! I used the font TimelessTLig for my journaling. I wrote the journaling for Caitie and Payton. I just love how this Insert card turned out. It’s so pretty.
