Christmas Cards

Here are a couple of cards I made using items from the Wonder and Wishes Collection by Little Yellow Bicycle.

How cute is this Owl with the Santa Beard!? I cut a piece from a Paper Doily by LYB and attached the beard to the owl using a couple of Mini Glue Dots. I love the glitter accents on this Chipboard Shape. I added a little red pom pom onto the owl’s hat.

How I made my “Joy” Card:

1.  Start with a 6 x 12 inches piece of white cardstock and score at 6 inches.

2.  Take the 6 x 6 Decorative Edge Cardstock and add the paper doily.

3.  Use the Crop-A-Dile and punch holes at the ends of the Chipboard Shape. Add “Joy” Cardstock Stickers for the title and add Jewel Stickers to the title.

4.  Add the Twine to the ends of the Chipboard Shape, tie bows, and attach Chipboard Shape to the front of the card using pop dots.

5.  Add the sweet Chipboard Owl using pop dots above the title. Add a pom pom to the owl’s hat and a piece of paper doily for a fun Santa Beard.

6.  Use adhesive and attach 6 x 6 Decorative Edge to the white cardstock.

How I made my “Noel” Card:

1.  Start with a 7 1/8 x 10 1/8 inches piece of white cardstock and score at 5 inches.

2.  Cut the Green Poinsettia Patterned Paper to 4 7/8 x 7 inches and cut the Tiny Tonal Poinsettia Patterned Paper to 3 5/8 x 5 6/8 inches. Use adhesive to put them together and add some stitching. I used a zig-zag stitch, but a straight line stitch would look nice, too. Use adhesive and attach the patterned papers to the white cardstock.

3.  Add the “Noel” Fabric Favorites Sticker to the corner of the card for the title.

4.  Attach the Christmas tree Chipboard Shape to the front of the card using pop dots.

5.  Attach the Angel Cardstock Stickers Favorite Pieces to the front of the card using pop dots. Add some glitter glue to the star and halo of the Angel and allow to dry.
