Posted: December 2, 2012 Filed under: Mini Albums, Scrapbooking | Tags: American Crafts, Crate Paper, December Daily, Kuretake Zig Memory System, Little Yellow Bicycle, Studio Calico Leave a commentNovember went by so fast. Can’t believe we’re in December. I started working on my December Daily album and wanted to share it with you. This year I decided to go with the Sleigh Ride Collection by Crate Paper, the Wonderland Collection by Studio Calico, and the Once Upon a Christmas Collection by Little Yellow Bicycle for my December Daily. I’ll also mix in items from previous collections and some new stuff.
For the front, back, and inside covers, I hoarded my supplies from the Once Upon a Christmas Collection by Little Yellow Bicycle. I love this image of Santa and used it for my front cover. This pattern paper is called Vintage Santa/Brown Houndstooth. I colored the image of Santa using some colored pencils. I used a Holly Jolly Clear Stamp (59216) from the Hollyday Collection by American Crafts for my album title.
For the front, inside cover, I used the pattern paper called Christmas Greetings/Cream Damask by Little Yellow Bicycle. For the Christmas Tree page, I used items from the Sleigh Ride Collection by Crate Paper. I used Wonderland Wood Veneer Trees along with Peppermint and Tannenbaum Mister Huey’s Color Mists by Studio Calico, Opera Pink VersaColor stamp ink pad by Tsukineko, some white acrylic paint, the Noel Christmas Date Roller Stamp by American Crafts, decorative brads from the Winter Wonderland Collection by My Mind’s Eye and the Peppermint Collection by Crate Paper, and rub-ons from the Hollyday Collection Stocking Accents & Phrases miniMarks by American Crafts, and some machine stitching.
For the back of the tree page, I used more pattern papers from the Sleigh Ride Collection by Crate Paper. I used a Wonderland Wood Veneer Tree, a Classic Calico Vol. 2 Tiny Stars Wood Veneer, Peppermint Mister Huey’s Color Mist, Wonderland Sticker Sheet, a Darling Dear Calendar Pocket by Studio Calico, All Is Bright Decorative Tape by My Mind’s Eye, a snowflake rub-on from the Hollyday Collection Stocking Accents & Phrases miniMarks and the Noel Christmas Date Roller Stamp by American Crafts, a star punch by Fiskars, and more machine stitching.
For our family photo page, I used items from the Sleigh Ride Collection along with a piece of Gold Airmail Washi Tape, Peppermint Mister Huey’s Color Mist by Studio Calico, Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Date Roller Stamp by American Crafts, and more machine stitching.
For Day 1, I used a Sleigh Ride Vellum Number and pattern papers by Crate Paper. I used Wonderland pattern papers and Darling Dear Orange, Mint, Chartreuse, Navy Opaque Gems by Studio Calico. Winter Wonderland Decorative Brad, Enamel Dots, and Decorative Tape and All Is Bright Decorative Tape by My Mind’s Eye. Gold/Silver Dauber Duos by Tsukineko. Tiny Attacher by Tim Holtz. Circle Clever Lever Craft Punch by Marvy Uchida and a standard hole punch. Black Zig Writer Pen for my journaling. Ready Set Go Vellum Envelopes by American Crafts for a few more pics of the birthday parties. The green and red baker’s twines are from the Wonder & Wishes Collection by Little Yellow Bicycle.
For the back, inside cover, I used the pattern paper called Christmas Greetings/Cream Damask by Little Yellow Bicycle.
For the back cover, I used the pattern paper called Vintage Santa/Brown Houndstooth by Little Yellow Bicycle.
I tried to keep my December Daily simple, traditional, and a bit modern for this year. Mostly just having fun with it. I hope you’re having fun with your December Daily (if you’re joining in this year). I’ll try my best to stay on track and not fall behind on it this year. I’ll post more of my album as I go. So far, so good. Happy to be doing it again. Happy December and Happy Creating, Everyone!
Halloween Costumes O’Fl!p Album
Posted: October 23, 2012 Filed under: Mini Albums, Scrapbooking | Tags: O'Fl!p Album, Pebbles Inc 2 CommentsI have been wanting to make a mini album of all the cute Halloween costumes my girls have worn throughout the years. The Tricks and Treats Collection by Pebbles combined with their O’Fl!p Album made it a fast, easy, and fun way to get it done. I love the design elements and colors in this Halloween line, because it’s not scary…it’s just fun. The candy, animals, and ghosts are so sweet. I have to admit that, when I first saw this album, I was quite taken back by its size. I have never done a 4 x 6 mini album before. I worked on the first few pages, got the hang of it, and ended up loving it. It really was fast, easy, and fun! I even have pages ready to add their costumes after this Halloween. I’m so excited…Caitie will be Princess Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Payton will be Princess Merida from Disney-Pixar’s Brave. I finally get two princesses this year! Have a safe and Happy Halloween, Everyone!
Hello Summer 2012 Mini Album
Posted: September 12, 2012 Filed under: Mini Albums, Scrapbooking | Tags: Pebbles Inc 3 CommentsI’m SO excited! It’s my Design Team debut with Pebbles today and I made a mini album!
Our plans to go to Disney World this summer fell through due to a broken furnace. We had to replace it and decided to replace the AC unit right along with it (glad we did it with the heatwave we’ve had). I think 19 years is a good run…Don’t you? Ha! The hardest part was telling the girls that all our vacation money went into the new heater and AC unit. They were upset, but very understanding and sweet about it. We promised them we would have an amazing summer anyway (which we did)! I miss the summer already. We also promised them that we would try to go to Disney World again next summer. We had a fun, busy, and great summer staycation! I made this mini album over-filled with all of our wonderful summer memories. I had over 1200 photos to go through and it was really hard to pick out my favorites. The easiest part was using the new Sunny Side Collection for most of my album. It’s such a great, happy, and versatile collection! Love it! I hope you enjoy this mini. I had fun making it. There are 79 pics for you to go through. Yes, I realize that’s crazy. I promise no more crazy projects for Pebbles. (well…maybe just one or two more). You’ll just have to stay tuned.
Yay! You made it to the end of this post…Congrats! 😉 Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
