12.12.12
Posted: December 13, 2012 Filed under: Family, Photography 7 CommentsI had fun participating in Dear Lizzy’s 12 on 12 Photo Challenge. It definitely was a challenge, but I kept my Canon PowerShot camera in my pocket to make sure I wouldn’t forget. Ha! I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday. A day like 12.12.12 only comes once in a lifetime…so happy I did this!
Walking the girls to school, a typical morning ritual.
As soon as I walked back home, I jumped into the Jeep and headed out on some errands.
HO HO HO, who wouldn’t go…
HO HO HO, who wouldn’t gooOOOOOO…UP on the Housetop…Click, Click, Click…
Down through the chimney with good St. Nick.
Are those the words to the song? That’s okay…no one can hear me.
Errands yesterday included the bank, the post office, and Target. Blah, no fun errands. Just taking care of business. I’ll go to Archivers, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn, and Michaels another day…tee-hee!
Checking in with work again…nothing for today. I’ve been working part-time (from home) for a publishing company. I’m so thankful for this job while I figure out what I want to do next. Hate to say that I’m still at a crossroads at the moment. : (
After lunch, I jumped on the treadmill for a workout…
…and the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers excitement continues on the DVD player. I cannot wait for Saturday! Chris’ mom (Grammy) is coming over to play with the girls while we go to the movies and see The Hobbit! YAY! (so excited)
Blogging and uploading my project for Pebbles. L.O.V.E.
I walked over to the school and got the girls. This is typical…running with friends…on our way home. Thank goodness I walk home with my mommy friends.
Our friends go right and we turn left to head home and my sweeties are walking with me. Yay!
Homework with Daddy…working on spelling and grammar. Amazed that this girlie has not missed one word yet. Last year, she only missed one word the entire time in first grade. How does she do that!?
I helped the girls with their showers and now they’re squeaky clean.
Our little foodie eating a cutie. Wow, I’m realizing that I either need to use a tripod at all times or take a photography class. LOL! Yeah, the class.
Caitie relaxing her yummy brain with her DS. She’s playing Disney’s Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension.
The girls opened up Day 12 of their Christmas Book Advent. It’s a new book!
Daddy also read a chapter book. Chapter 5 – The Return of Rhonda in Payton’s “Nancy Clancy Super Sleuth” book by Jane O’Connor. This is so typical…Payton doing other things while Caitie is sitting next to Daddy listening to the story. Love You. Night, Night girls.
Even if you didn’t take photos throughout your 12.12.12 day, I hope it was still a memorable and happy one!
Photo Challenge
Posted: November 11, 2011 Filed under: Photography 8 CommentsSince I forgot to do the First Dear Lizzy Photo Challenge, I thought that I would write a post-it note to myself to remind me this time. And, Hey, I didn’t forget this time! I went ahead and combined the self-timer shot from the first challenge with this challenge. My baby sister and adorable little niece even joined in on the fun today during their visit with us. Caitie had off from school today! And, Chris took the day off from work! Yay! I set my camera for a 10 sec self-timer pic, waited for the clock to hit 11:11 am, set the timer, and ran to the couch where everyone waited. How clever am I!? LOL!
This photo was taken on 11-11-11 at 11:11:11 am…
Thanks, Dear Lizzy! THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN!
