Ready, Set, Sunshine: Project Life Disney Album – Meeting Tiana

I used items from the pretty Garden Party collection by Pebbles. So perfect for these pages! The girls were so excited to meet Tiana from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. She was so funny and sweet…we just loved her!

I used a craft knife to cut out the sentiments that were in these journaling cards. I thought they would look pretty as frames for my photos…and they did!
Pretty Computer Font Time! I used Arial Narrow for the journaling on this “HELLO” journling card.
Love the Dimensional Butterfly sticker!

I created a few pages for when the girls met Princess Merida. You can head on over to the Pebbles Blog to see close-up photos and the video I took of the girls meeting their first Disney Princess.
I used the Jen Hadfield Cottage Living collection by Pebbles. A lovely collection for a very lovely princess! I also used the We R Memory Keepers Photo Sleeve Fuse Tool and the Becky Higgins Project Life 4 x 6 Fuse Sleeves to create these awesome flip pockets on my pages. I LOVE IT!

I created a few pages for when the girls met Princess Tiana. When you’re done here, head on over to the Pebbles Blog to check it out.
Today, I’m sharing the pocket page spread I made that was up on the Pebbles Blog a little while ago. I used items from the From Me to You collection for these pages. The girls had such a fun time meeting Alice from Alice in Wonderland. They were super excited and she was so sweet!
Here’s a close-up shot of my journaling to start off these pages. Pretty Computer Font Time! I used Arial Narrow for all the journaling throughout my spread.
The girls waited very patiently for their turn to meet Alice. Thank goodness we had a little bit of shade. It was SO hot and humid that day. Actually, it was very hot and humid every single day we were down in Florida. We survived. It wasn’t too bad.
Payton went right in for a hug! Again, Alice was such a sweetheart! She is one of my personal faves. I love Alice in Wonderland.
Flower stickers…can’t get enough of them right now.
Caitie goes in for a hug, too. These girls love Alice!
I love these Rub-Ons! SO easy to use and they look beautiful on my photos.
The girls enjoyed sitting and chatting a bit with Alice. So, I thought it would be fun to add some journaling cards with the questions they had for Alice and her responses. LOVE these Gold Typewriter Thickers and these bird and flower stickers!
I added vellum to this pretty flower pattern card along with some heart stickers stitched together. I used the From Me to You Roller Stamp to add this “Simply Lovely” phrase to my card. I love that I can use it to say just about anything I want.
Love this Picture Frame Hang Tag! Who says I have to include a photo in there? It’s so pretty on its own. I used it as an accent for my journaling. Yes, I used a ton of flowers on this pocket page spread. Flower stickers everywhere. You have to have lots of flowers around when you meet Alice!

Ready, Set, Sunshine: Project Life Disney Album

We had such a great time on our first family vacation! We went to Florida to visit Disney World and Universal Studios. The girls LOVED it! I have almost 1000 photos, 26 videos, and a stack of memorabilia to go through. So, I thought that I would try to do this album in a Project Life style. I figured that I would start out small (LOL!) to ease myself into it before I actually commit to a whole year of doing it. I went to my local Michael’s store and got the album and page protectors. I decided to use collections that I already had at home that I have been hoarding since my birthday months ago. I got the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm and Amy Tangerine Yes, Please collections as gifts from my family. I’ll also use items from Crate Paper, Little Yellow Bicycle, Pebbles, and whatever else I have in my hoarded stash at home. This is my first attempt at Project Life and I have to say that (so far) I’m really enjoying the process. I like it, but the difficult part is finding the time to work on it during this busy summer. So, I’m just gonna take my time with it and not put too much pressure on myself to get it done. Don’t really know if this is something that I would want to do next year, but this sure is going to be a wonderful album full of the best memories from our first family vacation together. The girls are going to love it…even more so when I get done with it. Ha! Anyway, I’ll post more as I get pages done. And, hopefully, it won’t be too long between postings of my progress.
