Sweet Baby Girl Layout

Here’s another layout scrapping a studio photo using the Special Delivery collections by Pebbles. This photo just absolutely makes me smile, because it’s Caitie at 11.5 months old (about a week away from her first birthday). Only her happiest of smiles can make her eyes this squinty (just like mama). I adore her little toes and hands. Happy Baby Girl! Lovely springtime and Caitie in her Easter dress.

Love this Girl Layout

I made this layout of another great studio photo of Payton that I have been keeping in a photo folder. It feels good to get these photos (that I LOVE) scrapped and placed in her album.  The Garden Party collection paired with the Special Delivery collections by Pebbles are just the perfect combinations. And, I gotta do pink! Payton’s fave colors are dark pink and light pink. Me…I just can’t get enough of flowers! Color doesn’t matter.

Love this Girl LO

Here’s my first attempt at watercolor painting. I like the way it turned out. I used a “LOVE” journaling card from the Special Delivery Boy collection and cut it down to use as a tag.

I added some hand-stitching to this journaling card from the Special Delivery Girl collection.

Ready, Set, Sunshine: Project Life Disney Album – Meeting Alice

I’m up today on the Pebbles Blog with another pocket page spread for my Project Life Disney Album. I created a few pages for when the girls met Princess Tiana. When you’re done here, head on over to the Pebbles Blog to check it out.

Today, I’m sharing the pocket page spread I made that was up on the Pebbles Blog a little while ago. I used items from the From Me to You collection for these pages. The girls had such a fun time meeting Alice from Alice in Wonderland. They were super excited and she was so sweet!

Here’s a close-up shot of my journaling to start off these pages. Pretty Computer Font Time! I used Arial Narrow for all the journaling throughout my spread.

The girls waited very patiently for their turn to meet Alice. Thank goodness we had a little bit of shade. It was SO hot and humid that day. Actually, it was very hot and humid every single day we were down in Florida. We survived. It wasn’t too bad.

PL Disney Album - Meeting Alice

Payton went right in for a hug! Again, Alice was such a sweetheart! She is one of my personal faves. I love Alice in Wonderland.

Flower stickers…can’t get enough of them right now.

PL Disney Album - Meeting Alice

Caitie goes in for a hug, too. These girls love Alice!

I love these Rub-Ons! SO easy to use and they look beautiful on my photos.

The girls enjoyed sitting and chatting a bit with Alice. So, I thought it would be fun to add some journaling cards with the questions they had for Alice and her responses. LOVE these Gold Typewriter Thickers and these bird and flower stickers!

I added vellum to this pretty flower pattern card along with some heart stickers stitched together. I used the From Me to You Roller Stamp to add this “Simply Lovely” phrase to my card. I love that I can use it to say just about anything I want.

PL Disney Album - Meeting Alice

Love this Picture Frame Hang Tag! Who says I have to include a photo in there? It’s so pretty on its own. I used it as an accent for my journaling. Yes, I used a ton of flowers on this pocket page spread. Flower stickers everywhere. You have to have lots of flowers around when you meet Alice!

Photographing those Eyes Layout

I’m working again with the Special Delivery collection by Pebbles for this layout. In total love with it!

Now, please bear with me. I’ve switched photo editing softwares on my computer. For the past 8+ years, I’ve used the Kodak Easyshare software (loved it so much) and combined it with Photoshop to edit all my photos. I’m now using the software that came with my Canon EOS 50D camera. I’m a little panicked over this change. But, I thought it was time for me to be a big girl and just do it. So, I’m now using the Canon Digital Photo Professional software and combining it with my Photoshop Elements software. This may take a bit of getting used to. Change is good. Anyway…

I made this layout about Payton’s eyes. Nevermind the drool glistening from the teething. Pay no attention to the peeling (and slightly red) skin from her ba-ba (pacifier) that I quickly grabbed out of her mouth for this photo. It’s all about her eyes on this one. She has such big and expressive eyes. Absolutely love them! She definitely has Daddy’s eyes (and pretty little lashes LOL!). I know she can’t have my eyes, because they get all squinty when I smile. Ha!

I added lots of large layers for this layout and I love the way it turned out.

Photographing those Eyes LO

I’m super excited…look at that adorable camera die! It cut perfectly! I love this new Maggie Holmes Styleboard Die Set by Crate Paper! I also love that I was able to line up my 6×6 paper so that the tiny hearts show on the camera perfectly. Feeling awesome right now. I actually used a bit of Mod Podge to glue it down (right in line with the center heart). I love how the camera lifts slightly off the page. So pretty and cool!

I loved combining these thickers for my title. LOVE the rub-ons!

Within my layers, I included a library pocket for my journaling.

Pretty Computer Font Time! I used Annie BTN (downloaded from the internet) for the journaling on this page. I’ve used this font before and it’s just one of my favorites. I use it more often with my projects about Payton, because it’s a sweet kid-looking font that reminds me of her favorite baby doll, Annie.

Heaven Sent Layout

Loving the new baby-themed collections, Special Delivery, by Pebbles. I used a bit of it to scrap this favorite photo of Caitie.

I still have SO many photos of the girls taken at the portrait studio and I haven’t really scrapped them yet. Until now. A layout with my little angel, Caitie.

Confession…After Caitie was born, I really didn’t take her out for special portraits. Yes, I admit…I was a crazy first-time mom. Always a worrier (still am) and protective of my baby girl. In fact, I believe this was Caitie’s FIRST photo session taken at a studio. She’s 5 1/2 months old here. And, she did SO well that day especially considering that she was a painfully shy kiddo. I do have this photo enlarged and framed…LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! She’s adorable!

The Heaven Sent pattern paper has to be my favorite! I LOVE IT! I had such a hard time scrapping on this paper! I just did not want to cover up this pretty paper! So, I kept this layout simple.

Heaven Sent LO

I used the “heaven sent” watermark rub-on from the Special Delivery Boy Rub-Ons as my title along with some little stars.

Heaven Sent LO

I used a journaling card for the journaling on this layout…perfectly said and fun for this photo. I LOVED using the front packaging on the ABC Cards for my sequins. I just did my best to cut up the front of the box, used the corner rounder punch for a pretty curve (did the same thing to my photo), backed it with a great pink and white striped pattern paper, and stitched some vellum stars to it. SO PRETTY! I love the way it turned out!

Heaven Sent LO

So many sweet phrases on the stamper!

I am REALLY going to enjoy using these Special Delivery collections on more projects of my babies! I will finally get more of those studio pics scrapped. ;)
