Teacher “Thank You” Cards
Posted: April 22, 2013 Filed under: Scrapbooking | Tags: American Crafts, Pebbles Inc 3 Comments »As we get closer and closer to the end of another school year, I wanted to get all my Thank You cards ready for Caitie and Payton’s teachers. I used the Soho Garden collection by American Crafts to create all the cards here. Now, all the girls have to do to finish up their cards is write special messages to everyone.
This card is for Caitie’s 2nd Grade Teacher!
This card is for Payton’s Kindergarten Teacher!
These next cards are for the girls’ Art, Music, and P.E. teachers as well as other helpful and sweet teachers in their school. The fun part about these cards is that they were very quick to make, because I used the Basics 5.5″ x 8.5″ Cardmaking Pads by Pebbles. Tear, fold, and create! Love that! I love the colors (they go with anything you have) and the designs (basic and trendy) of these pads!

Posted: March 6, 2013 Filed under: Scrapbooking | Tags: Pebbles Inc 2 Comments »We’re celebrating Party with Amy Locurto Debut Week over at the Pebbles Blog with lots of fun and inspiring projects. You can head over there and check them out. I created this layout using the Mermaid line from the Party with Amy Locurto collection. It was perfect for my under water photo of Payton. I used the “Under The Sea” card from the Mermaid pattern paper as the title for my page. It reminded me, of course, of the Disney Movies: The Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo. So, I surrounded my photo with pretty mermaids, adorable sea creatures, and flowers to create an underwater adventure.
I loved using the Vellum Garland and Paper Flowers on this page. I gave my mermaid a sparkling crown and pearl necklace using some glitter glue and pearl stickers.
Pebbles Supplies Used:
Party with Amy Locurto Mermaid Shimmer (751436)
Party with Amy Locurto Mermaid Under The Sea (751438)

10 Things I Love About My Sweet Girls Layout
Posted: March 5, 2013 Filed under: Scrapbooking | Tags: Little Yellow Bicycle 2 Comments »I made this LO using items from the Just Because collection by Little Yellow Bicycle. I also used items from the new Naturals collection by Little Yellow Bicycle. A pocketful of reasons why I love my girls. I just LOVE this “10 Things I Love About” Pocket that I titled “My Sweet Girls.” The Tiny Blossoms pattern paper is probably my favorite in this collection. I cut some of the paper into 12 – half inch strips and alternated them with the white cardstock. I really wanted this paper to pop off the page. Then, I added some decorative Vellum Tape to a few of the white spaces in the stripes for some fun.
For some pretty dimension, I added chalk ink to the edges of two Burlap Flowers (minus the burlap leaves) and layered them on top of the white flowers I hand cut from the Full Bloom patterned paper.
I did the same thing here and trimmed off the part of the bloom that hung off the paper…
…and added it right next to my “10 Things” Pocket.
I added chalk inks to these Canvas Alpha Stickers for another pretty ombre effect.
Love the Canvas Stickers from the Naturals collection! I added a hint of color to this adorable bird sticker using colored pencils. Red Jute wrapped around this pretty silver foiled chipboard heart. I stitched it over this fun chevron striped Canvas Border that I cut up and turned into arrows.
There are SO many things I love about my girls. For this LO, I listed my Top 10:
